Celebrating the Greatest Martial Artists in the World
The World of Martial Arts Association, or TWOMAA, was built on the dreams and mission of Grand Master Enrico Antonio Moore. Grand Master Moore passed on his extensive martial arts knowledge to many individuals before he passed away on October 1, 2012. Leaders such as Soke Keith M. Barrett, who was Grand Master Moore’s first black belt, sought to continue his work through this organization.
Whether we are hosting a workshop or planning an alumni event for our hall of fame, our organization is dedicated to supporting and recognizing martial artists all over the world. Our current goals include building a physical location for “The Columbus Ohio World of Martial Arts Hall of Fame,” recognizing the best martial artists, acknowledging these individuals with an annual banquet, and gathering martial artists all over the world by holding workshops, seminars, tournaments, and women’s self-defense classes.
Our Mission
The mission of TWOMAA is to recognize and support positive martial artists throughout the world. We believe martial arts should be part of the backbone of the educational system and should receive respect and support from the community.
Martial artists historically have protected those who were unable to protect themselves. Our organization is determined to keep those ideas alive and to perpetuate the philosophy of helping the weak overcome their weaknesses and develop into strong, healthy citizens.
Through our organization and “The Columbus Ohio World of Martial Arts Hall of Fame,” we aim to:
- Create a unity of qualified martial artists and instructors of the martial arts, promoting friendship and unity among such members.
- Promote and advance individual members who are active in the study of the martial arts upon evidence being shown of their skill, dedication, strong mind, body, and spirit through a serious study of the martial arts.
- License, issue rank, and register qualified Black Belt members and Martial Art Schools so that they may progress and receive the respect and recognition they deserve for their dedicated service.
- Recognize those who have dedicated their lives to developing a style or RYU after lengthy study and preparation to carry on the art.
- Create an organization of support for the teaching and understanding of the Martial Arts.

As we work toward creating a physical location for The Columbus Ohio World of Martial Arts Hall of Fame, your support takes us closer to reaching our goal. Once completed, our hall of fame will display significant martial arts memorabilia, recognize and honor noteworthy individuals, house a martial arts library, and provide a place for individuals to learn about the history of martial arts.
